Tülin Akgül was born in Balıkesir in 1969. She has studied fashion design at Istasyon Art Academy. She worked in textile industry specialized in women outerwear.
Tülin Akgül established Atelier Seramika in 1998, and started working in ceramics and glass.
When the Glass Furnace opened, she started taking classes from artists including; Rene Culler, Ed Schmit, Petr Novotny, Tim Shaw, and Ben Wright…
She has been working in her studio on kiln casting, sculptures and in the Glass Furnace she works on enameling and glass blowing. |
